SSM: Law

Dear Editor,

In his thank you letter to the people of Australia, as published (11/12), Brian Lindberg reflected upon how far the gay liberation cause has come from gays being deemed "immoral, illegal and unnatural".

Yes Brian, but sadly, a change in Civil Law does not mean there is a corresponding fundamental change in the 'unnatural' nature of the relationships. They are deemed 'unnatural' because the use of the faculties spurns their natural usage.

The M & F sex faculties are members of the one unitive, complementary design with the shared power to generate child-offspring/s in their own image. Their unitive, complementary design forever precludes them from ever being 'rightly', 'morally' or 'naturally' used with a person of the same gender.

Legally, the position has been rightly clarified as far back as the 13th century, when Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) observed, "A law not in conformity with Natural Law, is not a true law, but a corruption of law."

So, the true 'unnatural' character of the SSM Law just passed, may be 'legal', but the law itself shall forever conflict with Natural Law and remain, 'immoral' and 'corrupt' in its very nature.

Yours sincerely,

Alan Mitter
