God has determined that we should all seek Him, and if we do not, that we are without excuse.
You will know you have found Him, if it is Christ you find.
When you find the Son, you find also the Father and their Holy Spirit.
"For it is IN Him that we, and the whole Creation, live and move and have our being." (Acts
17:28)
HE EXHORTS US:
"Seek ye, first, the kingdom of God." (Luke 12:31)
FOR:
"The Lord is good to the soul who seeks Him." (Lamentations 3:25)
THE LORD SAID TO THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL:
"Seek Me, and you shall live." (Amos 5:4)
IT IS AS SAINT PAUL HIS APOSTLE HAS DECLARED:
"For the invisible presence of God is clearly understood. From the time of the creation of the world, His
Eternal Power
and Deity have been clearly demonstrated by all the things He has made: so, they are inexcusable, who do not
believe."
(Paraphrase of Romans 1:19-21)
TO PUT THIS TEXT IN A SIMILAR WAY:
"From the creation of the world, the invisible things of God are clearly seen, being understood by the things
that are
made. In these are manifest HIS ETERNAL POWER AND DEITY, so unbelievers are without excuse."
(Romans 1:19-20)
TO THOSE WHO SEEK HIM HE SAYS:
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." (Jeremiah 1:5)
"When you seek Me with all your heart, I will let you find Me." (Jeremiah
29:13-14)
So, it is imperative that we all must seek Him; that we all might find Him and live.
TO FIND HIM IS TO KNOW:
"He sees from eternity to eternity, and there is nothing wonderful before Him. The works of all flesh
(that we) are always (transparent) before Him. There is
nothing hid from
His eyes." (Ecclesiasticus 39:24-25; Psalm 89:2)
HIS EXHORTATION TO US ALL IS:
"Ask, and it shall be given to you: Seek, and you shall find: Knock, and it shall be opened to you. For every
one who
asks, receives: and he who seeks, finds: and to him who knocks, it shall be opened."
(Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 11:9-10)
AS JESUS THE SON OF ELEAZAR, SON OF SIRACH, SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 2nd CENTURY B.C.
"Those who have not
sought after Him, shall inherit His wrath." (Ecclesiasticus 39:28)
AND AS THE PROPHET DANIEL SAID:
"Christ shall be slain: and the people who deny Him, shall not be
His."
(Daniel 9:26, and confirmed in John 3:36; 1 John 5:10)
TO THE JEWS WHO RESISTED HIM, HE SAID:
"You will not come to Me that you may have life."
(Isaiah 45:25; John 5:40; 10:28)
"Eternal life is to know the Father and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." (John 17:3)
TO EVERYONE HE SAYS:
"Come to Me..." (Isaiah 45:22; Matthew 11:28; Apocalypse 22:17)
Pray, that you might believe. "It is the fool, who says in his heart: There is no God!" (Psalm 52:1)
