Homepage - The Lost is Found
When I was but a boy, lost, faced with the mysteries and confusions of life, I fumbled and stumbled my way along, searching for what might fill the void within me, until I encountered the mind and heart of Jesus. It was the Easter of 1961. I was 21, and my search had taken about 10 years.
The mind and heart of Jesus resonated with the deepest yearnings of my own heart. It reached to the unplumbed depths of perfect love, life and infinite being, and carried me into a world of awesome wonder. His call to perfect love, truth, virtue, charity, caring, sharing; caught me up into the inexplicable wonder of the Divine mystery of perfect being which exists from eternity to eternity.
I found this awesome Divine Wonder, which is the Divinity, catches the human heart and draws it into Its own glorious, rapturous, unending infinity. It reaches into the depths of man's emptiness, brokenness and confusion and cradles it in Its healing care, and brings it as a treasure into Its own home.
That which was lost, is found,
caught up in unsuspected love.
He who was blind, now sees.
The broken heart is healed.
In it now, beats the heart of the Divinity.
